It was a much better morning for passage, totals (south unless stated) 2 Red-throated Diver north, 2 Fulmar north, 1 Cormorant + 6 north, 1 Shag north, 8 Wigeon, 13 Teal north, 2 Pintail north, 3 Common Scoter north, 2 Kestrel, 1 Snipe, 1 Arctic Skua, 13 Black-headed Gull + 80 north, 2 Common Gull north, 5 Sandwich Tern + 1 north, were 24 Wood Pigeon, 1 Stock Dove, 289 Meadow Pipit, 6 Rock Pipit, 3 Grey Wagtail, 2 flava, 5 alba, 757 House Martin, 115 Swallow, 6 Sand Martin, 2 Jackdaw, 7 Carrion Crow, 9 Starling, 7 Tree Sparrow, 43 Goldfinch, 6 Siskin, 2 Greenfinch and 187 Linnet.
Migrants seen between Ravenscar and South Cliff included 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker (Italian Gardens), 3 Grey Wagtail (Holbeck), 27 Robin (Long Nab), 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 46 Chiffchaff, 4 Goldcrest and 2 Blue Tit in off at Long Nab!
Sixteen Curlew were roosting on South Cliff, an adult Yellow-legged Gull and 140+ Lesser Black-backed Gull were at Wykeham South Lake along with a Barnacle Goose, 164 Canada Geese, 2 Pochard, 19 Tufted Duck, 40 Pied Wagtail, 1 Yellow Wagtail and 100 Swallow. Just south of Boggle Hole were 4 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 52 Turnstone and 730 Great Black-backed Gulls.
