Another day of northerlies and another brilliant, if not better day over the sea.
One the move (north unless stated) were 15 Red-throated Diver + 17 south, 1 Red-necked Grebe, 338 Manx Shearwater, 55 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 1450 Fulmar including 1 'blue' Fulmar, 448 Gannet south, 4 Cormorant south, 1 Shag south, 35 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 373 Teal, 257 Wigeon + 1 south, 6 Pintail, 1 Shoveler, 2 Mallard, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Eider south, 294 Common Scoter, 2 Velvet Scoter, 1 Golden Plover + 1 in, 1 Grey Plover, 7 Oystercatcher south, 1 Ringed Plover, 2 juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, 5 Dunlin + 1 south, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 31 Arctic Skua + 14 south, 1 Pomarine Skua, 2 Long-tailed Skua, 9 Great Skua + 4 south, 143 Little Gull, 29 Black-headed Gull + 20 south, 4 Common Gull + 6 south, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 699 Kittiwake, 6 Sandwich Tern + 13 south, 14 Common Tern, 8 Arctic Tern, 1 Commic Tern, 77 Auk sp, 2 Sand Martin south, 15 Swallow south, 2 House Martin south and 2 Rook.
In the Long Nab area were 30 Meadow Pipit and 3 Rock Pipit.
