The Great Grey Shrike was seen again at Stony Knoll up in Langdale Forest, a Woodcock was also seen there. Elsewhere a Little Egret was at Seamer Tip, a Shelduck and a Goldeneye were on Wykeham South Lake, 4 Gadwall and 9 Goosander were at Seamer Mere, 45 Dunlin were on Cayton Carr and 8 Brambling were at Cockmoor Hall.

Although quiet it was the final day of what has been a fantastic January, 137 species recorded with highlights including 4 White-fronted Geese, Grey Phalarope, Iceland Gull, 30+ Waxwing, 2 Firecrest, Great Grey Shrike and up to 6 Lapland Bunting.
