 A small arrival of Swifts back on breeding grounds was noted with at least 9 over the Old Town, at Wykeham South Lake there was a Pink-footed Goose, the 9 Egyptian Geese, 1 Whooper Swan, 1 Pochard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Greenshank and a Wheatear and a Hobby was seen over RAF Fylingdales.
Migrants seen between Long Nab and South Cliff were 5 Wheatear, 10 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 6 Blackcap, 1 Willow Warbler and 9 Chiffchaff.
On the move (south unless stated) were 18 Fulmar north, 8 Gannet + 24 north, 2 Cormorant + 4 north, 2 Greylag Geese, 1 Shelduck + 2 north, 3 Eider north, 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Whimbrel north, 1 Curlew north, 3 Black-headed Gull + 1 north, 4 Common Gull + 4 north, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 4 Great Black-backed Gull north, 54 Kittiwake north, 2 Sandwich Tern + 6 north, 191 Auk sp north, 1 Puffin, 16 Wood Pigeon + 53 north, 1 Swift, 24 Sand Martin + 13 north, 118 Swallow + 20 north, 10 Flava, 2 Alba, 4 Carrion Crow + 50 north, 11 Goldfinch + 6 north and 32 Linnet + 2 north.
