Migration watch; 06.15 – 09.30hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver, 10 Fulmar + 4 south, 1 Gannet + 12 south, 1 Cormorant, 3 Black-headed Gull + 48 south, 13 Common Gull + 77 south, 162 Herring Gull, 6 Great Black-backed Gull + 6 south, 2 Kittiwake + 14 south, 3 Auk sp + 1 south, 2 Skylark south, 6 Meadow Pipit south, 1 Rock Pipit south, 3 Alba + 3 south, 4 Carrion Crow + 16 south, 19 Starling south, 3 Chaffinch south, 2 Goldfinch north and 5 Linnet south.
The American Wigeon was still at Scalby Mills, 2 Black-necked Grebe were still in the Harbour, 36 Wigeon, 31 Teal, 2 Tufted Duck and 3 Shelduck were on Johnson’s Marsh, a Shelduck, 45 Wigeon, a Teal and 17 Redshank were at Scalby Lodge Pond, a Whooper Swan, 20 Shoveler, 27 Teal, 5 Dunlin, 3 Curlew and 2 Egyptian Geese were at Potter Brompton Carr (no general access), 3 Whooper Swan were on Sherburn Ings and 2 Pink-footed Geese and 2 Goldeneye were at Wykeham South Lake.
