Migration watch; 06.30 – 09.30hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 17 Fulmar, 1113 Gannet, 64 Teal + 17 north, 9 Common Scoter north, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Lapwing, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Common Gull, 1 Sandwich Tern, 18 Auk sp, 2 Grey Wagtail, 7 Alba 26 Meadow Pipit, 81 Swallow, 10 House Martin, 2 Sand Martin, 7 Linnet and 1 Goldfinch.
Elsewhere 2 Shoveler, 4 Wigeon, 2 Teal and 3 White Wagtail were on Johnson’s Marsh, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Mute Swan, a Kingfisher, a Dipper and a Sand Martin were in the Scalby Mills area, 3 Dunlin and 2 Bar-tailed Godwit were in Jackson’s Bay, 2 Willow Warbler and 3 Goldcrest were in Scalby Beck and a Willow Warbler was in North Bay.
