Migration watch; 07.30 – 14.40hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 13 Wigeon north, 4 Pintail, 77 Teal + 126 north, 1 Tufted Duck north, 15 Common Sandpiper + 64 north, 4 Red-throated Diver, 38 Fulmar + 151 north, 2 CORY’S SHEARWATER north at 08.57hrs and at 10.08hrs (Marine Drive), 1 Manx Shearwater north, 1 Little Egret, 2 Shag, 4 Cormorant + 2 north, 1 Osprey at 11.03hrs, 1 Common Buzzard north, 6 Oystercatcher + 2 north, 1 Lapwing, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 10 Turnstone, 1 Dunlin + 11 north, 2 Ruff north, 468 Kittiwake north, 32 Black-headed Gull + 21 north, 1 adult Mediterranean Gull, 12 Common Gull, 1 juvenile Yellow-legged Gull, 10 Lesser Black-backed Gull + 1 north, 17 Sandwich tern north, 19 Common Tern north, 3 Arctic Skua north, 2 Auk sp north, 4 Skylark, 30 Swallow, 26 House Martin, 55 Meadow Pipit, 33 Linnet and 31 Goldfinch.
A Common Sandpiper was on the rocks along Marine Drive where a Redstart was briefly before moving onto Castle Hill and 21 Long-tailed Tit were at Scalby Mills.
