Migration watch; 06.15 – 12.10hrs and 14.15 – 15.45hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 10 Wigeon north, 2 Mallard, 34 Teal + 11 north, 7 Common Scoter north, 8 Red-throated Diver, 7 Cormorant + 1 north, 1 Sparrowhawk, 16 Snipe, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Redshank north, 1 Turnstone, 1 Curlew Sandpiper north, 2 Dunlin, 26 Black-headed Gull, 3 Common Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 10 Sandwich Tern, 6 Swift, 2 Skylark, 16 Sand Martin, 227 Swallow, 176 House Martin, 10 Tree Sparrow, 1 Flava, 2 Grey Wagtail, 3 Alba, 3173 Meadow Pipit, 1 Tree Pipit, 1 Rock Pipit, 56 Linnet, 1 Crossbill, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Siskin, 2 Reed Bunting.
In the Long Nab area were 150 Rook, 2 juvenile Kestrel, 1 Great Tit, 1 Willow Warbler and 1 Stonechat.
A Hen Harrier flew west over Wrench Green at 16.20hrs, 2 Shoveler were on Johnson’s Marsh and a Bar-tailed Godwit was in Jackson’s Bay.
