Also today in the Long Nab area reports included a Grey Plover, a Jack Snipe and 2 Snipe flushed from the scrape by the hut, a Peregrine, 3 Chiffchaffs, 3 Goldcrests, 2 White Wagtails and 17 Pied Wagtails in the field to the east of the White House and 3 Brambling in the ringing plantation.

At Wykeham South Lake there was a ♂ Common Scoter and 3 Goldeneye and on Throxenby Mere a ♂ and 2♀ Goosanders.

In the southern bays we had an Eider and 2 Grey Plovers in Cornelian Bay whilst in the north at Ravenscar there were 2 White Wagtails with c15 Pied Wagtails in the sheep field to the south of the hotel.
