Monday 8th October

Snow Buntings were found on the Cleveland way at Cromer Point and near the observatory at Long Nab. Also at Long Nab a Yellow-browed Warbler was in Crook Ness gully feeding in the tall Sycamores, a Chiffchaff nearby. The Barnacle Goose was still at Harwood Dale Lake. The Water Rail was still behind the stage at the Open Air Theatre viewable from the railway bridge near the reed bed. An escaped Bar-headed Goose was at Seamer tip pool. A Great-crested Grebe in North Bay.
