Tuesday 15th January

The Great Northern Diver remained at Wykeham South Lake today, and the 3 Great White Egrets were back; plus a Great White Egret was also seen at Seamer Tip pool. A Waxwing was spotted outside Dunelm, and later (after being scared off by a Mistle Thrush) in front of B&Q. At Long Nab there was a Snow Bunting, 11 Rock Pipits and a Whimbrel. A drake Goosander and 2 Goldeneye were seen at Seamer Road Mere, while 17 Purple Sandpipers were on the rock armour on East Pier and a Great Northern Diver was in the South Bay.
