After a day of northerly winds today was calm and a good seawatch was had. Highlights past Long Nab included 6 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, Great Northern Diver, 60 Red-throated Divers, 13 Sooty Shearwaters, a
Balearic Shearwater, Purple Sandpiper, 2 Little Gulls, 11 Great Skuas, 21 Arctic Skuas and a
Long-tailed Skua plus the first
Black Tern of the year (juvenile). 80 meadow Pipits were grounded at Long Nab plus a flock of 260 at Irton Moor. Two Common Sandpipers were at the harbour. Wykeham East Lake had 631 Greylag Geese, 105 Canada Geese, 6 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 205 Black-headed Gulls. A Pochard was on the Water Park.
