.A female Blackcap, 20 Blackbirds, a Song Thrush, a Jay and a
Short-eared Owl were seen at Burton Riggs this morning, as well as 9 immature Mute Swans (presumably the family from Seamer Tip Pool) which were flying around, and 100 Pink-footed Geese which flew over south. A drake Eider flew north past Marine Drive and 3 Red-throated Divers were again in the harbour. At Long Nab a
Pomarine Skua and 2 Great Skuas flew south while one Great Skua flew north. A
Lapland Bunting and 11 Curlew were in the fields behind the observatory.
