On Cayton Carr this morning a
Ruff and 76 Lapwing; at Potter Brompton Carr 9 Pintail, 3 Shoveler and 80+
Lapwings and at Wykeham South Lake 8 Great Crested Grebes, 58 Wigeon and a ♂
Goldeneye.
Around town there was a Great
Crested Grebe and a displaying pair of Greater Black-backed Gulls in the
Harbour and on the sea opposite the Grand Hotel a flock of 65 Kittiwakes.
