Wednesday 22nd June
A relatively quiet bird day today. An adult Mediterranean Gull flew north at Long Nab this morning, a Reed Warbler was at Taylor Way pool and 19 Tufted Ducks were at Burton Riggs. Two Spotted Flycatchers and a Northern Goshawk were at the south east corner of Wykeham Forest and singles of Raven, Northern Goshawk and Peregrine Falcon were seen over Troutsdale from Broxa Forest where another Spotted Flycatcher was also seen.
Great spotted Woodpecker by Caroline Garrod.
