Highlights from this morning's seawatch at Long Nab included an early pair of Goldeneye, Mediterranean Gull, Great and Arctic Skua. A singing Grasshopper Warbler at the Water Sports Lake (east side), plus a Common Tern. The Great White Egret was still at Seamer Road Mere, also 2 Gadwall and 5 broods of Tufted Duck (7,7,5,5,2). Seven Curlew flew north over Crossgates mid-afternoon.
