A 2cy Yellow-legged Gull was feeding off Long Nab this morning. Highlights moving past were 7 Little Egrets, 34 Knot, 34 Redshank, Sanderling, Ringed Plover, 6 Whimbrel, 4 Common Terns, 325 Sandwich Terns, 4 Mediterranean Gulls, 8 Arctic Skuas, 1 Great Skua, and a Cuckoo flew south. A Little Egret was in Cayton Bay. The Pink-footed Goose was still at Peasholm Park lake. A male Blackcap in a Stepney Road garden was a sign of summer visitors dispersing.
