A Whooper Swan was seen on the sea drifting north into South Bay this morning, together with a Mute Swan. A Cream-crowned Marsh Harrier flew south past Long Nab then South Cliff, and was seen again closer inshore off Cornelian and heading into Cayton Bay. A Sandwich Tern also passed Long Nab, heading north. One, or possibly two, Ravens were spotted behind the Falcon Inn, and a Red Kite flew west over Gristhorpe. At Cromer Point there were a pair of Stonechats, 8 Teal and 3 pairs of Reed Buntings, while a White Wagtail flew north. A Chiffchaff was on the edge of Manor Road, and 5 Goldeneye were at Seamer Road Mere. A female Common Scoter and one Whooper Swan was at Wykeham South Lake, while 101 Stock Doves were in the nearby fields. 253+ Pink-footed Geese flew past Long Nab this morning, while this afternoon there were 22 Pied Wagtails plus a White Wagtail in the field behind the observatory. A female Black Redstart was at Seamer Tip pools.
