Migrants were few and far between, seen between Long Nab and South Cliff were 1 Short-eared Owl (Scalby Lodge), 3 Wheatear, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 4 Blackcap, 5 Whitethroat, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Willow Warbler and 7 Chiffchaff.
A trickle of passage produced the following (north unless stated) 12 Swift, 36 House Martin, 62 Swallow + 8 north, 1 Flava south, 19 Carrion Crow south, 8 Goldfinch south and 6 Linnet south.
Reports from elsewhere were few and far between, 5 Bar-tailed Godwit were in Jackson's Bay, a Common Sandpiper was at Burton Riggs and yet more Swifts arrived with at least 30 over Valley Road by early evening.

A single Bottlenose Dolphin was found in South Bay at 17.30hrs, it eventually headed north passing Marine Drive where it was joined by another nine before turning back south at 18.30hrs.
