Yet another generally quiet day, on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access) there were 3 Little Egret, adult Whooper Swan, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Shelduck, 2 Shoveler, 1 Gadwall and 36 Lapwing, 3 Turnstone were on Black Rocks, 48 Sandwich Tern and 2 Common Tern were feeding between North and South Bay, 45 Oystercatcher were in Jackson's Bay and a Spotted Flycatcher at Scalby Beck was the only indication of any migrants arriving!
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Whimbrel north, 22 Sandwich Tern north, 2 Swift, 135 Swallow, 2 Sand Martin, 8 House Martin and 3 Goldfinch.
