A Male Montagu's Harrier east through Wykeham South Lake was the highlight and continues the good spring run. Also through Wykeham were 3 Whimbrel, an Arctic Tern and 5 Yellow Wagtail while present there were 11 Egyptian Geese, 1 Pink-footed Goose, 2 Shelduck, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Common Sandpiper, a Greenshank and a Wheatear plus 5 Sedge Warbler along Straits Lane there.
Elsewhere 2 Gadwall, 2 Teal and a White Wagtail were on Flotmanby Carr and 2 Red Kite were seen over Muston.
On the move (north unless stated) were3 Red-throated Diver, 19 Fulmar + 2 south, 35 Gannet + 58 south, 1 Cormorant south, 3 Gadwall, 1 Tufted Duck south, 7 Common Scoter + 20 south, 1 Kestrel south, 1 Oystercatcher south, 1 Ringed Plover south, 3 Dunlin, 6 Whimbrel + 1 south, 2 Curlew, 1 Turnstone, 1 Black-headed Gull + 21 south, 4 Common Gull + 36 south, 4 Lesser Black-backed Gull + 8 south, 2 Great Black-backed Gull + 8 south, 71 Kittiwake, 144 Sandwich Tern south, 187 Auk sp, 2 Puffin, 1 Swift, 16 Swallow + 12 south, 2 House Martin, 2 Flava south, 6 Carrion Crow and 30 Linnet south.
