Migration watch; 10.10 - 12.55hrs.
Two eclipse drake Red-crested Pochard at Wykeham South Lake were the highlight of the day, also seen there were 8 Egyptian Geese, a Teal, 5 Pochard, a cream crown Marsh Harrier, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper and 1 Snipe.
Migrants seen between Ravenscar and South Cliff included 1 Redstart (Ravenscar), 3 Wheatear, 1 Whinchat, 2 Stonechat, 7 Blackcap, 2 Whitethroat, 11 Chiffchaff and 1 Pied Flycatcher (Holbeck).
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver, 3 Fulmar north, 1 Cormorant, 11 Black-headed Gull, 11 Swallow, 3 House Martin, 1 Tree Pipit, 31 Meadow Pipit, 8 Goldfinch and 11 Linnet.
