Migration watches; 07.30 - 13.00hrs and 18.15 - 19.35hrs.
A marginally better day with evidence of a slight increase in grounded migrants.
Between Long Nab and South Cliff were 5 Whinchat (3 Long Nab, 2 South Cliff), 2 Stonechat, 3 Whitethroat, 7 Blackcap, 9 Willow Warbler, 19 Chiffchaff, 6 Goldcrest, 1 Spotted Flycatcher (South Cliff) and 2 Pied Flycatcher (Long Nab).
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Great Crested Grebe north, 1 Cormorant, 4 Wigeon, 79 Teal north, 52 Common Scoter north, 1 Golden Plover, 23 Meadow Pipit, 2 Tree Sparrow, 4 Goldfinch and 7 Linnet.
Elsewhere 2 Wigeon and 12 Moorhen were on Johnson's Marsh, 6 Shelduck, 48 Wigeon, 10 Common Scoter, 2 Greenshank and 2 Common Sandpiper were at Scalby Mills, an Arctic Skua showed well over the fields at Long Nab and 3 Sand Martin and 7 Reed Bunting were at Cromer Point.
