Monday 3rd June

A Honey Buzzard was seen from Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint at 8:00 this morning, and another (the pale male) showed briefly in the middle of the day. Also seen from there were a Red Kite and a Hobby. A Quail was once again heard singing south of Wykeham Grange Farm from in the barley field. 14 Sandwich Terns were feeding all morning in Cayton Bay; the Little Egret was still at Johnson's Marsh; and 2 Ringed Plovers flew north at Long Nab.
