A Quail was heard singing early this morning in fields just south of Wykeham Grange Farm, Low Moor, and was still calling mid-afternoon in the same place, where there was also a Yellow Wagtail singing. A Honey Buzzard was seen wing clapping from Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint early morning, and a pale male Honey Buzzard was seen there late afternoon, plus a Red Kite, a Hobby, a Goshawk, a Kestrel, 2 Garden Warblers, a Tree Pipit and 6+ Crossbills. 3 Eiders flew south past Long Nab, and a summer Mediterranean Gull was seen around Cayton.
