Migration watch; 08.15 - 14.00hrs.
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Red-throated Diver + 6 north, 1 Red-necked Grebe (first of the year), 7 Gannet + 6 north, 1 Pomarine Skua, 20 Little Gull, 7 Black-headed Gull, 48 Common Gull + 8 north, 81 Herring Gull, 21 Great Black-backed Gull, 7 Kittiwake + 4 north, 17 Auk sp + 17 north, 6 Little Auk and 1 Fieldfare in and west.
In the Long Nab area were 1 Little Auk on the sea, 2 Snipe, 2 Woodcock, 22 Skylark, 5 Meadow Pipit, 2 Rock Pipit, 2 Robin, 3 Blackbird, 1 Blackcap, 2 Goldcrest, 7 Chaffinch, 3 Goldfinch, 41 Snow Bunting and 18 Yellowhammer.
Elsewhere 8 Red-throated Diver and a Razorbill were in South Bay, 6 Whooper Swan, 6 Pink-footed Geese, 18 Pochard, 2 Goldeneye and 17 Coot were on Wykeham South Lake, 5 Mediterranean Gull were at Holbeck, 43 Teal, 15 Wigeon and 15 Moorhen were on Johnson's Marsh and 7 Snipe were on RAF Fylingdales.
