The Great White Egret was seen again today but this time it was found
on Potter Brompton Carr.
7 Mediterranean Gulls were
around Holbeck Car Park this morning (5 adults, a 1st winter and a 2nd
winter) and three were seen at The Mere (an adult and 2 x 1st
winter).
With no reports for a few days
now it was nice to hear that 5 Hawfinches
were seen at the churchyard in Brompton-by-Sawdon again today.
Also today we had a report of
large flocks of Starlings, Redwings and Fieldfares around the pylons at Wykeham
South Lake. Finally a Goshawk was seen along Great Moor Road at Hutton Buscel.
