An adult Roseate Tern was enjoyed by many at Scalby Mills on our evening Scarborough Birders' meet. Also there 20 Sandwich, and 15 Common Terns plus an Arctic Skua offshore. At Potter Brompton Carr: 2 Shelduck, Shoveler, 3 Ruff, 3 Marsh Harriers, 2 Yellow Wagtails, 60 Goldfinches. 18 Oystercatchers, Curlew and Common Sandpiper in Jackson's Bay. A Green Sandpiper at Harwood Dale Lake. A Whinchat at Reasty Bank ridge, Broxa Forest. Two Swifts at Scampston Hall park. The Osprey again in the Ellerburn valley / Sand Dale area of Dalby Forest, also 5 Willow Tits. Little Egret, 3 Whimbrel, 8 Siskin south at Long Nab.
