A Firecrest at the Mere on the Railway side was the highlight of the day and is the first December record in Scarborough. Elsewhere 12 Goosander and 116 Lapwing were on Harwood Dale Lake, 2 Red-throated Diver and 3 Guillemot were at Scalby Mills, 18 Wigeon, 61 Teal were on Johnson's Marsh, 5 Common Buzzard were seen over Everly Hotel and a Dipper was at Wrench Green.
