Waxwings continued to arrive with 8 new birds at Curlew Rise in Crossgates and 20 were again were reported from Harwood Dale. Elsewhere the Great Northern Diver was still in the Harbour, 5 Great Crested Grebe and 8 Common Scoter were in South Bay, 3 Little Grebe, 7 Mandarin and 17 Teal were on Hackness Lake, the White-fronted Goose, 26 Tufted Duck, 4 Pochard and 2 Goldeneye were on Wykeham South Lake, 130 Wigeon were on Flotmanby Carr, 11 Goosander were on Harwood Dale Lake, a Little Egret, a Water Rail, a Barn Owl and a Lesser Redpoll were by Flixton Bridge, 5 Mediterranean Gull were at Holbeck, 150 Fieldfare, 9 Lesser Redpoll, 15 Reed Bunting and 57 Yellowhammer were at Ganton, 32 Brambling were at Cockmoor Hall and a Snow Bunting was at Stoupe Brow.
