A disappointing day given the conditions, evidence of newly arrived migrants along the coast was almost none existent.
Elsewhere 7 Egyptian Geese,a Hobby and 3 Common Sandpiper were on Wykeham South Lake, the adult Whooper Swan, 2 Shelduck, 2 Shoveler, 28 Lapwing a Golden Plover, 6 Ringed Plover, 5 Curlew, 2 Greenshank, a Redshank and a Common Sandpiper were on Potter Brompton Carr (no general access) and a pair of Shelduck with 10 young, 2 Oystercatcher and a Redshank were on Scalby Lodge Pond.
Passage was also very light, heading north (unless stated) were 9 Gannet + 19 south, 182 Auk sp + 25 south, 1 Curlew and 1 Whimbrel.
