Migration watches; 07.40 - 09.00hrs and 11.00 - 12.00hrs.
Finally a hit that the changing conditions are improving things at sea, a short watch produced the following; (north unless stated) 94 Fulmar + 5 south, 12 Manx Shearwater, 4 Common Scoter, 1 Arctic Skua, 4 Puffin, 7 Sandwich Tern + 7 south, 13 Common Tern + 8 south and 2 Flava south.
Elsewhere a Firecrest was trapped at Blanket Head Moor during the morning, a Shoveler was at Seamer Tip and in the Long Nab area there was a Greenshank and a Yellow Wagtail.
