A cream crown Marsh Harrier
flew south over Long Nab at 10.26 and moving north there 4 Teal, a drake
Shoveler, 2 Tufted Duck and a Common Tern; at Scalby Lodge Pond there were 30+
House Martins with equal numbers of Swallows and Sand Martins plus a Yellow
Wagtail and on Troutsdale Moor species included 7 Tree Pipits, 4 Garden
Warblers, 3 Blackcaps, 11 Willow Warblers and a Willow Tit.
3 Hawfinches were reported over Wykeham Raptor View Point and finally
today Common Swifts were reported back in Thornton-le-Dale.
