The two
Slavonian Grebes appeared in North Bay around midday but could not be relocated later. Also in North Bay the
Black-throated Diver, 2 Red-throated Divers, 3 Guillemots, a Puffin and a Great Northern Diver. The latter was also seen around the harbour mouth. South bay held 2 Great Crested Grebes, a Razorbill, 2 Guillemots and a Shag. The Great Egret as usual was at Seamer tip pool plus 2 female Shovelers. A Woodcock was at Burton Riggs. Flower of May pond held 280+ Wigeon, 2 Tufted Ducks and a Chiffchaff in nearby hedgerows. 79 Curlews, 28 Redshank in Gristhorpe Bay and 4 Meadow Pipits Redcliffe Farm.
