A slow day despite the promising conditions.
On the move (south unless stated) were 3 Red-throated Diver north, 51 Gannet + 72 north, 1 Whooper Swan north, 9 Wigeon, 3 Eider north, 12 Common Scoter + 17 north, 2 Velvet Scoter + 3 north, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Pomarine Skua north, 2 Great Skua north, 16 Black-headed Gull +7 north, 12 Common Gull + 6 north, 1 Kittiwake + 1 north, 5 Guillemot, 22 Auk sp + 6 north, 5 Skylark, 1 House Martin, 9 Tree Sparrow, 5 Goldfinch, 1 Siskin, 4 Linnet, 5 Redpoll sp, and 3 Reed Bunting.
Migrants seen between Ravenscar and Castle Hill were 89 Skylark, 35 Meadow Pipit, 11 Robin, 18 Fieldfare, 4 Redwing, 7 Song Thrush, 19 Blackbird, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff, 11 Goldcrest, 1 Firecrest (Long Nab), 42 Starling, 28 Chaffinch, 95 Linnet, 2 Yellowhammer, 5 Reed Bunting and 3 Lapland Bunting (Long Nab).
An adult Little Gull was in Fields near Scalby Lodge Pond.
