Thursday 20th - Friday 21st March 2014

Two very contrasting days!
The only report on the 20th was of a Chiffchaff and signs of Otter activity in Scalby Beck.

The 21st produced an adult WHITE-TAILED EAGLE that flew east past the Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint at 09.03hrs but unfortunately wasn't relocated anywhere, this represents the 5th record for the area and only the 3rd since 1948!
Also the first Wheatear of the year, a male, was at Wykeham South Lake where there were also 2 Egyptian Geese and 30+ Wigeon.
