A decent morning over the sea with a trickle of wader passage and another year tick taking the 2014 total to 212!
On the move (south unless stated) were 1 Great Crested Grebe north, 3 Manx Shearwater + 3 north, 4 Fulmar + 9 north, 205 Gannet + 188 north, 3 Common Scoter + 71 north, 17 Oystercatcher, 50 Dunlin, 3 Sanderling, 1 Turnstone, 1 Knot, 38 Redshank, 1 Curlew, 1 Arctic Skua north, 1 Black-headed Gull, 18 Sandwich Tern + 39 north, 5 Commn Tern + 7 north, 8 Arctic Tern, 4 Little Tern at 08.44hrs (first of the year) and 2 Auk sp + 10 north.
The juvenile Mediterranean Gull was seen again at Scalby Mils and a Black Redstart was found in a derelict area behind Melrose Street in Scarborough Town.
