Monday 19th - Tuesday 20th January 2015
The drake Scaup was seen on the Mere on 19th. The 20th wasn't much more exciting but Velvet Scoter made it on to the year list, a single north past Marine Drive. Elsewhere the Water Rail was still in the Open Air Theatre, 31 Purple Sandpiper were in the Harbour and at Scalby Mills there were 205 Wigeon, 2 Eider and a Lesser Black-backed Gull.
