Migration watch; 08.10 – 11.25hrs.
On the move (north unless stated) were 8 Red-throated Diver, 5 Fulmar + 2 south, 7 Gannet + 16 south, 6 Cormorant + 9 south, 3 Shag + 2 south, 1 Common Scoter + 2 south, 1 Goldeneye, 4 Black-headed Gull + 36 south, 12 Common Gull south, 1 argentatus Herring Gull, 21 Auk sp + 1 south and 1 Rock Pipit south.
At least one Lapland Bunting remained at Long Nab, 13 White-fronted Geese, 1 Pink-footed Goose, 1 Barnacle Goose, 1 Whooper Swan, 4 Goldeneye, 5 Shoveler, 9 Gadwall2 Pochard, 14 Tufted Duck and 10 Great Crested Grebe were at Wykeham South Lake with a Red-throated Diver found there in the evening being (not surprisingly) the first site record.
Late news from the 10th was of a Raven seen from the Wykeham Raptor
