The Green-winged Teal was still present today on either Johnson’s Marsh
or the flooded field 200 metres to the north, but it did disappear for a time
during the late afternoon, also here today a Whimbrel flew over calling in the
fog this morning (probably went north) and this evening a Black-tailed Godwit
was with 35 Redshanks but it left to the east at 18.50
At Wrench Green today c60
Redwings and c10 Fieldfares and at Harwood Dale Lake a Black-tailed Godwit
which flew off high to the east at 17.37, 2 Goosanders, a drake Mandarin Duck,
a White Wagtail and a Green Sandpiper which flew off to the northwest at 18.25.
