A Little Egret was seen at Thornton Carrs this morning, and 3 were near the bridge at Folkton Sewage Farm in the afternoon. 3 Lapland Buntings were again in the stubble field at Long Nab, and a Woodcock was seen on Rocks Lane. 54 Teal and 12 Snipe were at Johnson's Marsh, while a Goldeneye, 65 Fieldfare and 6 Redwing were at Harwood Dale Lake. Seamer Road Mere had much the same bird community as yesterday though the number of Goldeneye had risen to 8. A Great Northern Diver and a Mallard were seen in the inner harbour, and 40 minutes later a Great Northern Diver (probably the same one) was in South Bay off the harbour mouth, together with 2 Red-throated Divers and 2 Razorbills. A Chiffchaff was still in Holbeck Ravine.
