Sunday 6th December

2 Great Northern Divers were in the harbour/South Bay this morning, as were 2 Guillemots (plus a dead ringed Shag). 3 Long-tailed Ducks flew north past Holbeck, then half an hour later flew south past Long Nab, probably landing in Jackson's Bay. A Pomarine Skua flew south past Long Nab, and also passing were a Great Northern Diver and 2 Great Skuas, while 4 Lapland Buntings were again in the stubble field. 11 Goldeneye, 9 Great Crested Grebes and 12 Redpoll were at Wykeham South Lake, and 5 White-fronted Geese flew east. 6 Little Egrets were at Folkton Bridge, a juvenile Iceland Gull was at Scalby Mills, and at Seamer Road Mere there were 4 Little Grebes, 6 Goldeneye and 2 Goosanders.
