Saturday 26th December
A Great White Egret, a Gadwall and a Shoveler were at Seamer Tip pools this morning, the former flying off north-west towards Burton Riggs. 60+ Pink-footed Geese also flew west over Seamer Tip, and a female Eider was at Scalby Mills. 2 Lapland Buntings were again in the stubble field at Long Nab, and at Cayton Bay 53 Oystercatchers were in the fields. 5 Bramblings were among a flock of 200-300 Chaffinches at Wilton Heights. A Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Chaffinch, a male Bullfinch and 2 Long-tailed Tits were at Scalby cricket pitch.
