Saturday 26th June
A Great Skua spent some time this morning in the field behind the Long Nab observatory, from where 92 Manx Shearwaters, 19 Curlew, 2 Great Skuas and an Arctic Skua were seen flying by northwards. In Harwood Dale Forest a Cuckoo was calling just north of the Falcon Inn, and there were reports of Ospreys from Wykeham Raptor Viewpoint and Wykeham Lakes. 4 Common Terns flew east over Crossgates.
