Highlights of a BBS square at Scampston this morning included 3 Red Kites, 2 Green Woodpeckers, a Lesser Whitethroat, and a juvenile Lapwing with its parents. 12+ Swifts and a Buzzard were seen over Woodlands cemetery. A Quail was sound recorded over Crossgates in the eartly hours again.
