Wednesday 21st April

The Common Scoter was still at Seamer Road Mere this morning, where Tufted Duck numbers had risen to 42 and the first of 4 pairs of Coot have now hatched young. Seen passing Long Nab were: 4 Wigeon, a Goosander, a Manx Shearwater and 2 Puffins. At Johnson's Marsh there were 10 Teal, and at Wykeham Lakes there were 2 Teal, 3 Goldeneye, 5 Pink-footed Geese, and a Snipe.
