A Snipe was drumming on Sneaton Low Moor this morning, and 10 Whooper Swans were seen over Outgang Lane, Pickering. 3 Swallows were seen heading east over Wykeham South Lake and a flock of 50 to 60 hirundines were seen high above the lakes. A Manx Shearwater flew north past Long Nab and a Great Skua flew south. A Swallow was also present in Brompton.
