Sunday 18th April
A drake Common Scoter was at Seamer Road Mere today, though it sadly had no left eye; and a Red Kite was seen at Crossgates near Burton Riggs. 5 Brambling were again at the Long Causeway feeders, together with a Siskin. At Wykeham Lakes there were 5 Pink-footed Geese, 4 Goldeneye, a Little Ringed Plover and 11 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, plus a Ruff on the east bank of East Lake. There was a possible sighting of a Marsh Harrier over Boyes this evening.
