Hawfinches were still in
evidence today with 6 in a garden in Thornton-le-Dale and 9 at the churchyard
in Brompton-by-Sawdon where the Ring
Ouzel was showing again after a day of no news.
Around town today there were 4
singing Song Thrushes early this morning in Peasholm Park, on The Mere there
were 6♂ and 6♀ Goosanders and in South Bay the Velvet Scoter remained for
another day plus 2 Great Crested Grebes and 2 Common Scoter.
