Waxwing was around the B&Q car park again throughout the day. 100+ Redwings and 4 Mistle Thrushes were seen off Newlands Lane in Cloughton, and at Seamer Road Mere there were 4 Little Grebes, 2 Teal, 29 Tufted Duck, a Goosander, 2 Water Rails, 10 Common Gulls and a Peregrine. A
Great White Egret was spotted flying south over Seamer Mead and 4 Golden Plover were flying with a Lapwing flock around the adjacent carrs, while about 100 Fieldfares were in a field to the south of Seamer Tip. A Black-headed Gull was seen at Scalby Mills this afternoon that had been ringed as an adult near Oslo on 29/5/18.
